The paint is looking very clean and sharp on the unit. A very quick way to identify this as a unit with AC traction motors is to look on the cab. The lightning bolt beneath the number indicates this is an AC unit. This particular unit went west of the Moffat a few days ago as DPU on the tail end of a loaded coal train headed for Valmy, NV. When it arrived, AMTK 816 had been leading. Before it could depart west, AMTK 816 had to be swapped with AMTK 63. Without knowing for certain, the speculation is that there was a problem with the HEP (Head End Power) with AMTK 63, so it had to be swapped with AMTK 816, allowing AMTK 816 to become the unit providing power to the train.
