The outbound crew, which went on duty at 9:45am, brought the power back out to the train. The hand brakes are being knocked off, and it will be ready to depart westbound shortly. When it arrived, AMTK 816 had been leading. Before it could depart west, AMTK 816 had to be swapped with AMTK 63. Without knowing for certain, the speculation is that there was a problem with the HEP (Head End Power) with AMTK 63, so it had to be swapped with AMTK 816, allowing AMTK 816 to become the unit providing power to the train.
