DS-86 has informed the crew that they will meet a northbound at Hazeltine, but the northbound won't be ready to depart for about an hours. The train usually runs across the Overland Route through Wyoming into Nebraska, but a derailment in Emmett, KS has resulted in the train being rerouted. The first two thirds of the train were all auto racks, with the remaining one third consisting of just a mixed manifest. The mixed cars were left tied down on the main while the racks were spotted. So, seeing a quartet of EMDs leading a southbound just south of Greeley (with two SD40-2s to boot), made me a very happy camper. Therefore, it is somewhat unusual to find a solid set of EMDs on a train these days. That made this train particularly cool with it's quartet of EMD power.
