Both of these trains are actually eastbound. The oil train has slow-rolled on the main at Plain, allowing the BNSF manifest to catch up to it on the siding. The DPUs are crossing over the former Rock Island line that led to North Yard. The line is now owned by the Denver Rock Island, a short line that operates a few miles of track in the Denver area. Also note the newest looking bridge in the distance. This bridge is indeed quite new, carrying RTD's N-Line commuter rail traffic from Denver Union Station out to the suburb of Thornton. It's path is currently blocked by a westbound BNSF coal load, crossing over the diamond at Sand Creek on the BNSF Brush Sub, underneath the I-270 overpass. Once the coal load clear, the local will still have to wait a bit as a southbound UP manifest switches some cars out at an industry off in the distance.
