The crew will temporarily leave LTEX 3842 along with the string of cars. This will allow the crew to pick up the two additional (UP) units for the journey, with LTEX 3842 being the fourth units. While the conductor on the Limon Local works to tie on a FRED (or End of Train device) to what will become the last car of the local, four random guys are walking between yard tracks! They are carrying backpacks, stepladders, and bottles of water. Were they just in the midst of a little graffiti work? I cannot say for sure, but it was quite odd to see! The new rail park has already received one unit for switching, and LTEX is going to become the second! I'm not sure of the history of this bright blue GP38-2.
