By May of 1999, it was spotted in Burnham in storage. The unit was (as possibily is?) owned by Daniel Quiat, who will supposidly restore the paint and perhaps even get the unit in operational condition again. However, there was one car that was owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad. That car was the Silver Rapids. It was a contribution by PRR for getting passengers directly through (without transfer) from New York City to points west on the Zephyr. After the end of the Zephyr, the car was used on Amtrak for some time before being sold to Cedar Rail Enterprises. The car can now be chartered as was the case here when it ran with three other cars through a Trains Unlimited Tour.
