An interesting note about UP 5701. That was the number ex-Rio Grande GP60 #3155 was originally slated to get in UP's roster. A UP C44AC-CTE is poking its head out of BNSF's engine shop in Denver. BNSF was borrowing the unit from UP, and at this moment the unit was being used to drag a unit out of the engine facility. You can now take your DRGW Heritage Unit and your Zephyr train set and run them together!! UP 1989 sits on the point of the Zephyr at Union Station. The second P42 was not loading and UP 1989 was added in Salt Lake City to help out. The train has spent half the summer months running from Denver to Salt Lake (and vice versa) via Wyoming due to maintenance on the Moffat. UP 6936 sits on the Broadway overpass. Back when DDA40X's were (relatively) common, Broadway came to town via a viaduct running over the tracks.
