This particular coal empty went into to North Yard instead of running through one of the bypass tracks. This was likely done either because it was having power issues or the power arrangement needed to be changed. The train started in Cook, IL and is headed for the Bowie Mine on the North Fork Branch. The train got held at Crescent for nearly 12 hours due to mud slides and a derailment in the Tunnel District between Plain and Crescent.
