Not too common to find a westbound tied down at Leyden, but track work up the hill prevented the train from going any further west. Now, right around sunset, a new crew has just been dropped off to take the train west. The train is the Colorado Springs Department of Utilities train, which used to have the cars lettered "CSDU". However, on this first day of October, this particular train had BNSF 5720 in the lineup. This was one a pre-production GEVO from GE - in fact, this was the eighth-ever ES44AC produced! You may notice in this shot that the Ski Train appears to be missing something...such as the Utah and Kansas which can typically be found on the train.
