Just before 8am on this September morning, an eastbound coal load has clear signals at Chemical. Within the next five to ten years, this location could change quite dramatically as there is talk of completing the "470" highway loop around Denver. The Ski Train is heading west at a quarter to four in the afternoon on a special chartered run. The train will return to Denver later the evening, arriving around 11pm. Running on UP tracks, this westbound is being led by an NS C40-9W, a CSX SD50 and a BNSF ES44AC! It is in fact a BNSF track rights train, the MPUEPVO, headed to Provo, UT.
