Four hours later and the train is climb the through the S-Curve from the west switch of Rocky (out of frame to the right) up to the top of Big Ten Curve. Three units are on the point and a pair of units, both facing west, are bringing up the tail end. The train is not particularly long today at about 4,500 feet. This is part of the construction of the new Canyon Pines subdivision. The development covers 180 acres and, when finished, will have about 90 single-family homes running up and over the top of Tunnel 1.
