This local used to run at night, but has been running in the daylight for nearly a year. While I had caught it a few times in the Summer, this is the first time I've seen it on the branch in Winter! The sound was amazing. It's great to see that 11 years later, the Dash-2 series is still in extremely wide use, even if it technically on a local (the Longmont Turn). The local has just come down off the Front Range Sub and is headed for the yard. It is going to have to stop for a bit though due to traffic ahead blocking its way. The dynamic brake intake is very unique. Here, a GP60 (with an animated and friendly engineer!) leads the Buck Local down the Front Range Sub into Denver.
