The round shape gave it such a distinctive look. So thrilled that DRGW 3006 will be preserved at the Forney Museum rather than be scrapped. That means two Rio Grande GP30s have been saved. Virtually all the rail has been removed at this point in 2018. In addition, a lot of asbestos removal has taken place. The turntable and the transfer table have both be auctioned off. No doubt it won't be much longer that the buildings themselves will come down. In a few more years, this will probably be a but of condos!
