Under the unusual skies, we find the westbound Zephyr making its way west along the south leg of Big Ten Curve, just east of Eisele (Clay).

Meets at Eisele (Clay) do not have particularly often. Eisele is a shorter siding and it has weight restrictions on it as well, limiting what trains can actually meet here. However, the Zephyr is light and short, easily able to sneak through on the siding as it heads west, meeting this eastbound loaded oil train.

AMTK 27 and AMTK 33, elephant-style, lead the westbound Zephyr out of the west portal of Tunnel 1. The summer is a great time for this shot when the Zephyr is on time and the sun is nearly far enough to the north to offer a little light on the nose of the Zephyr.
