Back in the days of the Rio Grande, the Belt Line was a four mile connection between Rio Grande and Union Pacific. Today, it still used as a connection for UP to get between North Yard and 36th Street Yard, or North Yard and the Greeley Subdivision. In this shot, the train is passes underneath BNSF's Brush Sub and is about to pass underneath Brighton Blvd near York Street. Two new tracks run from C&S Junction to Broadway north of North Yard. To avoid a diamon at grade level with the BNSF Front Range Sub, the Front Range Sub was lowered and the new flyover runs over the BNSF main.
