That part of the train is just to the left of UP 9053. Because the train is 7,000-feet long, it couldn't fit in most of the sidings along the Moffat, Leyden included. A BNSF derailment in Illinois resulted in the Zephyr being 10 hours late in to Denver. Here, the train is just west of Leyden and charging west through a "sucker hole" in the clouds. Ironically, the train would end up getting stuck at Tennyson Street (just west of C&S Junction) for over four hours, waiting to get in to North Yard! Amtrak this morning has ten Superliners, including two Sightseer Lounge cars! That's because the entire train has been rented out for an event known as "Train Jam". The entire train is carrying software gaming developers on their way to the "Game Developers Conference" in San Francisco. Because the entire train has been rented out, and because all passengers have a common destinations, Amtrak will not be stopping at most of the stations along the route. The train had an ET44C4 on the head end as well, although this is one of the very early versions of the ET44C4. You can tell as the second of long hood just ahead of the radiator housing is very boxy. In later versions of the model, that housing that sticks up is contoured to look a bit more natural with the rest of the radiator.
