Meanwhile, a UP ballast train (symboled WDVDVB-23) sits tied down on the Rocky Flats Industrial Lead. The ballast train has been dropping new ballast along the main. A Norfolk Southern "Catfish" (a name given to NS C44-9Ws by railfans) is sandwiched by two Warbonnets. A very rare visitor to Colorado to be sure, CN 2417 is the sixth of seven units on this BNSF trackage rights train.
