The "earth worm" (as these unit grain trains are often referred to) is will stop on the main at Hillrose to meet two eastbounds. The train came from Provo, running through much of Utah and Colorado in the dark. It is supposed to be heading to Pueblo, although I don't know where the cars are going specifically once they get there; where they will get more pipe. The local has just come down off the Front Range Sub and is headed for the yard. It is going to have to stop for a bit though due to traffic ahead blocking its way. When I left home in Arvada, the train was just leaving Leyden. Considering rush hour traffic, I was shocked I got to Fox in time to get this shot...granted I got there with less that 30 seconds to spare! The dynamic brake intake is very unique. Here, a GP60 (with an animated and friendly engineer!) leads the Buck Local down the Front Range Sub into Denver.
