A Zebra-striped full body Canadian National SD60F was included in the consist. Canadian national is the only railroad that ordered several full body units from EMD and GE after 1970. This is an SD70I, which is like the SD70M, but with an EMD WhisperCab. Only 26 units were produced and all went to Canadian National. Not a bad catch for the middle of Colorado! Internally, the unit is just an EMD SD60. However, there are no external walkways. You can walk alongside the prime mover inside the shell of the unit to get to the next unit. The coal is provided to the Valmont power plant in Boulder by Union Pacific. However, BNSF provides the crew (and power) to get the train to Boulder from Denver.
