Eisele is a shorter siding and it has weight restrictions on it as well, limiting what trains can actually meet here. However, the Zephyr is light and short, easily able to sneak through on the siding as it heads west, meeting this eastbound loaded oil train. Once the oil train clears the west switch, the dispatcher will immediate get a clear (green) signal for the Zephyr to continue its journey west. However, on this May morning, the westbound Zephyr is running through the siding to meet with a loaded oil train, rolling east on the main. Both of these trains are actually eastbound. The oil train has slow-rolled on the main at Plain, allowing the BNSF manifest to catch up to it on the siding. Dispatch has informed the train that they will meet the westbound Zephyr at Eisele (Clay) and dispatch is setting up the west switch for the oil train to hold the main. If you look in the distance, you'll notice take cars coming out of Tunnel 4. That is actually a second eastbound train. Specifically, BNSF's HPVODEN (Provo-Denver). A commuter rail on the G-Line glides by, also heading for Union Station. The commuter train will make its stop on Track 7 at Union station while the Zephyr will stop on Track 4.
