I really like the look of the boxy dynamic break intakes and, of course, the class spartan cab. It is good to see that UP has rebuilt (or is rebuilding) its GP60 fleet - designating them as GP60Es - so they will hopefully be in service for years to come. The hoppers are loaded with aggregate from the only industry still found on UP west of Denver on the east side of the divide. Before continuing back to town, one of the crew members will align the derail on the spur (toward the bottom of the frame) back to the derail position. It is a bitter sweet trip for the Sierra Hotel as this is the final trip for the car. It will head back to Chicago on the back of the Eastbound Zephyr in a few days.
