As you can see in this shot, the Zephyr is looking at a double red signal at the east end. There is an erroneous track occupancy between switches on the main ahead, and DS-380 is going to give the Zephyr authority to pass the red signal. It sounds like it has been a tremendously successful year, with the train expanding to run five days a week (Thursday through Monday). Here's hoping the train returns to be just as successful next winter. For now, the P42DCs and the Superliners will be taken on the Zephyr west to California later in the week.
