AMTK 142 and 192 were in charge of the five car train last weekend. This morning, AMTK 153 and 27 are running on the Ski Train. Today, MLK Day, is the first "bonus" day for the Ski Train. It is -7°F (-22°C) and the snow is falling as the train approaches the grade crossing at Blue Mountain Drive. The orange object on the front of AMTK 192 is actually a protective cover that goes over the coupler. It prevents snow and ice from building up in the knuckle, making it easier when AMTK 192 has to be attached to the train in Fraser after running around it for the trip back to Denver.
